July 1, 2006 I retired from Shell Oil Company after 38 years with Shell. At the time of retirement I was Manager of Corporate Security for the US. In the summer of 2005 I testified before the US Senate’s Homeland Security Committee as an expert witness on combating terrorism in the oil and chemical industry. I am presently the Assistant Chief at the Pct.4 Constables Office in Harris County, Texas, a department of about 375 Deputies, and I also serve on a couple Board of Directors. Decided to retire from public education after 32 yrs. Since retirement in 99 have been doing some consultant work in education and testing for the Nation's Report Card. My wife Gayle, ( former Gayle M.Pinter) Pi Phi, class 0f 69 retired from public ed in 03. She now teaches part time at Saginaw Valley State University. Past few summers have been playing a lot of golf with a large group of retirees. We travel around playing different golf courses. Summers are spent in Boyne City MI. and on Cape Cod, Mass. We still spend as much time as we can on the Cape, which is never enough. Both children, Jeff and Jennifer are now parents and thus we have three grandchildren to spoil. |

Eileen and I are still in "Education" but are expecting to retire in three years. We have one son, Roger, graduating from Law School (U. Penn) in May 1999. Edward, #2 son is in his second year at U. Penn Medical School. #3 son, Justin, is a sophomore in the Corp of Cadets at Norwich Univ. He is majoring in Nursing. He intends to make a career of the Army. |
